Strategic investor sought for the glass mould maker undergoing corporate restructuring
Germany-based Schrader Glasformenbau is a manufacturer of glass moulds for the container glass industry, and in recent years the turnover volume has ranged between 12 and 15 million EUR. For structural reasons, Schrader is currently undergoing a process of corporate restructuring embedded in formal insolvency proceedings. The aim of the insolvency administrator is to restructure Schrader both organisationally and financially in order to ensure a sustainable business continuation after insolvency.
The process of adapting the workforce to future market demands has already been completed.
In order to guarantee the best possible restart for Schrader, the insolvency administrator is searching for a strategic investor as the new shareholder of the company. The investor process is conducted by the distressed-M&A specialist, Mentor AG.
