Tailor-made and cutting-edge solutions for glass handling, Automated Guided Vehicles and related connected and intelligent technological services: these are some of the latest Italcarrelli innovations that will be displayed to the participants of Glasstec, on show from September 20 to 23, 2022.
During the four-day Düsseldorf event, Italcarrelli will present the most recent self-propelled transporters for the flat glass industry and the numerous projects developed, including some prestigious AGVs already put into operation in many glass manufacturing and processing facilities around the world.
Following the continuous growth in demand for automation, digitalization and industry 4.0 solutions, the Glass Division and the R&D department of Italcarrelli have developed innovative software and solutions for both operator-guided and autonomous guided machines, including:
- WLS (Warehouse Locating System): a RTLS (Real Time Locating System) solution that allows you to monitor in real time and keep track of all the movements of glass packs and racks within the warehouse.
- RICU (Remote Italcarrelli Console Unit): application that allows you to monitor in real time on a PC or tablet the status of the warehouse, the position of glass and racks, the status of the machines, send missions, etc.
- DMS (Database Management Software): software that allows you to integrate Italcarrelli 4.0 solutions with customer-side software such as ERP and WMS.
- MMS (Mission Management Software): software that allows you to generate lists of missions to be launched automatically with the help of triggers.
During the Glasstec fair, at the company booth (Hall 15-D37), visitors will have the opportunity to see a demo of an AGV transporter for the handling of flat glass on racks. In the simulation, the vehicle reproduces the loading / unloading of a rack from one station to another in full autonomy. Furthermore, demos of Italcarrelli solutions and software for digitalization and industry 4.0 will be available.
