Igor Rudenya, Governor of the Tver Region, Russia, held a working meeting with the General Director of JSC Pikalevskaya Soda, Maxim Volkov. They discussed issues of cooperation between the Tver region and the company in the areas of industrial production, tourism and healthcare.
Igor Rudenya stressed that the region is ready to provide the necessary assistance in the implementation of the company’s projects in the Tver region.
In 2019, the Pikalevskaya Soda company invested over 700 million RUB in the purchase and modernization of the glass plant in Tver, 450 jobs were created. Today the company produces glass products for food use, and a shop for glass bottles decoration is in operation.
Currently, Pikalevskaya Soda is implementing a project for the further development of the enterprise with an investment of 2.5 billion RUB and the creation of an additional 150 jobs.
The expansion of glass production in Tver is carried out within the framework of a cooperation agreement signed between the Government of the Tver Region and JSC Pikalevskaya Soda at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum in 2019.
JSC Pikalevskaya Soda includes various industries and divisions that produce soda ash, potassium carbonate, potassium sulfate, cement, glass containers. The products of the enterprises are used in the glass industry, the production of household chemicals, fertilizers, and are exported to the USA, England, Germany, Poland, Czech Republic, India, UAE, Indonesia, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Spain and other countries.
