Kommerling UK has announced that its warm edge product, formerly known as Ködimelt TPS will now been called Ködispace, to help differentiate the products from other similar systems in the glazing market.
Kommerling UK, announced on 12 September that with immediate effect its warm edge product, formerly known as Ködimelt TPS will now been called Ködispace. The renaming is designed to help differentiate the products from other similar systems in the glazing market.
Phil Turley, glass product manager for Kommerling UK explained more; “The new name reflects the use of the product as a replacement for the more conventional spacer types and is seen as a logical link in our product range for warm edge systems. We are keen to stress that the change is in name only. There are no changes in formulation, properties or performance of Ködispace but fabricators and other customers should be aware that all relevant data and test reports are renamed as Ködispace.”
The Koemmerling warm edge family of products now includes:
1. Ködispace as thermoplastic spacer with polysulphide edge seal for permanent gastight insulating glass units; and
2. Ködispace 4SG as warm edge solution for façades and applications where the product will be used in conjunction with silicone edge seals.
