Kommerling UK will supply Cornwall Glass with Kodimelt IG single component product, which is ideally suited for use in the production of a wide range of shaped and stepped units, and triple pane units.
Kommerling UK, the leading provider of sealants and adhesives, has increased its business with Cornwall Glass, having agreed to supply the company with its Kodimelt IG product. The product will be used in the production of insulated glass units at West Country Glass in Saltash, the third of Cornwall Glass’ production centres.

Kodimelt is a single component product, based on butyl, and is a popular choice with many insulated glass producers. It is proven to have very low gas loss rates, in line with EN1279-3. It is regularly used on automated sealing machines and is ideally suited for use in the production of a wide range of shaped and stepped units, and triple pane units.
