La Maison Française du Verre has just completed the injection tests of up to 20 percent (in power) of hydrogen mixed in natural gas at its plant in Châteauroux, France, producing borosilicate glass.
The company was thus able to verify the merits of its decarbonization approach by validating “in real size” many hypotheses on its melting furnace at full load.
It is a first step on an exciting path with many more milestones to come.
