LandGlass Technology Co., Ltd. will launch its new gas heating glass tempering furnace at China Glass 2011. During the exhibition, the company will also hold a technical seminar to introduce the gas heating glass tempering furnace on 11 May in hall W2. The new tempering furnace can heat glass sheets by burning CNG or LPG, therefore cutting costs considerably compared with electric heating furnaces. By uniting high efficiency burners with jet convection heating technology, both developed by LandGlass, the new furnace can heat all kinds of glass sheets evenly and rapidly, thus, says the company, guaranteeing high quality tempered glass Important features of the furnace are: – glass heating with CNG or LPG; – less dependent on electricity and, therefore, lower production costs; – able to temper all kinds of glass, including low-E. According to LandGlass, the new furnace will help glass processors, who can get gas easily and, therefore, be more competitive.
