LandGlass: installing and maintaining the furnace door system

Some advice from LandGlass about what to pay attention to when installing and maintaining the furnace door system of a glass tempering furnace.

The furnace door system consists of a cylinder, a drive shaft, tension springs, pull rods and a furnace door. When the tempering furnace door system is in operation, the cylinder moves and drives the drive shaft to rotate. The drive shaft drives the pull rod up and down through the shifter fork. The pull rod then flips the furnace door to achieve the door opening and closing.

When performing furnace door maintenance and installation, note that the distance between the upper furnace door frame and the upper surface of the ceramic roller conveyor shall be no less than 30 millimetres, and the distance between the lower furnace door frame and the upper surface of the ceramic roller conveyor shall be no less than 10 millimetres. Ensure that the cylinder-driven furnace door can be opened smoothly with no jerking. Ensure that when closing the tempering furnace door, the upper furnace door frame does not interfere with the roller and can be completely closed with the lower furnace door frame.
