LandGlass: tempering bent glass with different specifications

How to adjust the glass tempering furnace when tempering bent glass with different specifications

LandGlass suggests that when tempering bent glass with different specifications the operator should:

  1. Readjust the curvature of the bending chiller according to the required radius parameters of the glass.
  2. Place the glass of required thickness on the rollers in the bending section and lower the upper chiller. Turn off the air source to the upper pressing rollers and loosen the locking device of the upper pressing roller cylinder. Adjust the upper pressing roller stroke so that the upper pressing rollers just hold down the top surface of the glass. Relock the locking device of the cylinder, turn on the air source to the upper pressing rollers, and adjust the required pressure to 2 to 3 kilograms.
  3. Adjust the nozzle height of the upper and lower chillers according to the thickness of the glass to be processed.
  4. Reset the process parameters of the bending chiller according to the curvature of the glass to be processed (including the bending height, bending speed, waiting time before blowing, and other processing parameters).
  5. Adjust the position of the positioning baffle in the chiller according to the arc length of the glass produced and reset the distance between the exit of the heating furnace and the position of glass in the chiller, and reset the effective distance of the chiller.
