Aston Fuller takes viewers on a tour of Glass Futures’ pilot plant to explain the recent progress in constructing the globally unique pilot line.
Key steelwork plans are progressing well. The pipe bridge that provides combustion and abatement services to the furnace has been erected, and steelwork flooring has been installed including steelwork that will support the lehr and roll plate machine.
Major work began on installing the refractory bricks to the furnace and the company eagerly anticipates the arrival of the 35-metre chimney stack soon.
