Aston Fuller, General Manager of Glass Futures, leads a tour of the company’s pilot plant to explain the recent progress in constructing the globally unique pilot line.
Key steelwork plans are progressing well. The pipe bridge that provides combustion and abatement services to the furnace has been erected, the steelwork flooring has been installed including steelwork that will support the lehr and roll plate machine.
Major work began on installing the refractory bricks to our furnace and the arrival of the 35-meter chimney stack is eagerly anticipated.
