Glass tableware maker Libbey Inc. has announced changes in its senior executive team as part of its efforts to increase efficiency. Richard I. Reynolds, who has been the company“s chief operating officer since 1995, has been named an executive vice president and chief financial officer. Prior to that, he spent two years as CFO. Gregory T. Geswein, Libbey“s current CFO, will have a newly created position – that of vice president of strategic planning and business development. Daniel P. Ibele will become the company“s newly created vice president of global sales and marketing, and Roberto B. Rubio will become the newly created vice president of global manufacturing and engineering. “This global alignment of our senior management team is a key step to more closely align with our growing global customer base,” Chairman and CEO John F. Meier said in a statement.
