LiSEC slims group management team

The Austrian flat glass processing and finishing firm cut its senior management team from six to four as of 1 November 2014.

In 2013, LiSEC’s 1,600 employees generated revenues of around EU 220 million. “We invest massively in our growth and in the expansion of our market position. The strategy required for this is being implemented consistently. There is a significant number of projects that contribute to this and one after another these are starting to pay off – and I’m very pleased with the results. We are now focussing on aspects at management level and reducing the size of the team. On the one hand, this will enable us to increase flexibility, and on the other, the management team will be adjusted to the size of the company,” explained Othmar Sailer, CEO of the LiSEC Group.
Peter Holzinger (48) started his career at LiSEC in 1998 in the sales department and qualifies as an insider and connoisseur in the industry. At top management level Holzinger has been responsible for sales since 2011. Anton Walser (48) studied mechanical engineering at the Technical University of Vienna and occupied management positions in development and production areas before joining LiSEC in 2011. Walser is responsible for the areas of innovation, product management and development within the management team at LiSEC. Since July, he has also been responsible for production and procurement. Werner Mihatsch came to LiSEC in 2011 and has been active since 2013 as CFO for the financial affairs of the group. Mihatsch gained initial experience with Ferroglas, was responsible for areas including accounting, finances, and taxation at Brauunion (Heineken), and then developed the corporate accounting structure for HTI AG.
Authorised signatories Peter Rattinger and Dr. Markus Schoisswohl (MBA) will complete the management team. Peter Rattinger became head of service at the LiSEC Group in November 2013. His main responsibility consists of developing LiSEC’s service business further and driving growth. He and his team are focussed on optimising the organisation and its processes and the development of sustainable customer ties.
Dr. Schoisswohl (45) received his doctorate in physics in Paris and collected extensive experience in international industrial plant construction before he switched to LiSEC in 2011, where he is now responsible for the automation/software branch. His most important goal is to increase synergy between automation and production planning software, therefore offering LiSEC customers new possibilities for machinery operation and process analyses within the scope of Industry 4.0.
CEO Sailer concluded “This is the team with which I will lead the company in the next growth phase. Without any doubt, the upcoming months and years will be a real challenge – I’m looking forward to it!”
