Stress Photonics technology in LiteSentry’s Osprey 8+
LiteSentry’s Osprey 8+ will be integrated with Stress Photonics technology to allow fabricators of tempered glass to scan for anisotropy online after the quench process.
LiteSentry is partnering with Stress Photonics, specialists in measuring stress and strain in the development, manufacture, sales and service of anisotropy inspection systems as an option to the Osprey Distortion and Flatness Inspection System, manufactured by LiteSentry.
According to the company, integration of Stress Photonics technology into LiteSentry’s Osprey 8+ will allow fabricators of tempered glass to scan for anisotropy online after the quench process and detect the maximum reflective iridescence for every lite tempered. The product will also allow for real-time adjustments to the furnace to reduce the reflective iridescence caused by anisotropy, say company officials.
