At GlassBuild America, Mappi’s furnaces attracted positive feedback
At the recently-held GlassBuild America show in Las Vegas, Mappi saw highly positive feedback and results for its FOX and ATS 4.0 furnaces.
GlassBuild America 2018 closed its doors in Las Vegas with great results for Mappi. This important event, the largest annual gathering place for the entire glass, window and door industries in North America, is a great opportunity to meet American customers who want to develop their glass business. Customers, partners, old and new friends met the international Team and the power of FOX and ATS 4.0 at Mappi’s booth during the show.
The American market, always highly focused on Energy Saving Systems, and Mappi’s Eco friendly products were the solution to the questions coming from visitors on how to save money and energy without compromising the quality of glass.
Mappi, in fact, has been working for 25 years, developing technologies to guarantee the highest quality standards of glass with energy savings of up to 40%. This is made possible thanks to a series of coordinated systems managed by a computerized system to: optimize consumption and allowing to significantly reduce the peak of installed power required by the entire system, self-balancing between heating and quench area to minimize overall peak, self-developed management software, self-optimizing heating system with the presence of the glass sheet, management of each thermal zone individually by means of PLC supplied by a static relay.
Thanks to its quick start up time, this Mappi furnace can be put into sleep mode every night and any day it is not needed.
