Mappi: important deal for the United Arab Emirates

Mappi closed a deal for an ATS 4.0 Series 2,500 x 5,000mm tempering furnace with Abbas Glass Group

During the recently-held China Glass, Mappi closed a deal for an ATS 4.0 Series 2,500 x 5,000mm tempering furnace with Abbas Glass Group.

China Glass ended on a positive note for Mappi. The Italian company, in fact, closed a deal for an ATS 4.0 Series 2,500 x 5,000mm tempering furnace with Abbas Glass Group.
Abbas Glass, based in Dubai, is one of the most reputable organizations in the Gulf Area with a 25 years proven history, a service provider for all kind of aluminium and glass works, glass tempering, edge work and insulating glass.
The machine will be delivered by Mappi to the customer towards the end of summer 2018.
The ATS 4.0, equipped with the latest GHBS Extreme convection, was the right choice for Abbas Glass Group, which needs to work constantly and for very large orders. Thanks to the use of coordinated systems, this furnace raises the bar in limiting consumptions and in productivity, minimizing the time between tempering cycles without wasting time for the adjustment of operating temperatures.
Glass defects are reset by computer management of the mechanical movement, the heating and air temperatures for tempering, supported by the use of motors and materials of absolute excellence.
Abbas Glass chose this product not only for the best quality during production, but also for its innovative and unique maintenance system.
For this reason, the ATS 4.0 is the only furnace in the world equipped with the Removal System Heating Chamber. This means longer life for material, as well as cleaner and higher quality glass.
The order, valued approximately EUR 1.0 million, is just one of the orders that Mappi has concluded in this first part of 2018.
In 2017 Mappi closed the year with its highest turnover which is, however, expected to be overtaken this year – Mappi’s 25th anniversary.
