This year’s edition of Mir Stekla will take place at the Expocentre in Moscow from 4 to 6 June 2014 and the organizers are already seeing a significant increase in visitors’ activity compared to the same period of 2013.
The international glass industry community is preparing for the 16th exhibition Mir Stekla (World of Glass), which will traditionally be held at the Expocentre in Moscow from 4 to 6 June 2014.
According to a 2013 audit, Mir Stekla shows stable annual growth both in exhibition space and the number of exhibitors; the milestone of 6,000 sq.m. was exceeded and number of participants came close to 300. Further 10% increase is expected in 2014. It makes the exhibition the largest event of the industry in Russia and CIS countries.
In 2013, the number of visitors totalled more than 9,000, 94% of whom were industry specialists. The organizers are already seeing a significant increase in visitors’ activity compared to the same period of 2013.
Mir Stekla is a springboard for international companies who aim to expand and enter the Russian market, as well as the main meeting venue for Veterans of Russian market. According to the 2013 event assessment, more than 70% of exhibitors confirmed their successful achievement of targets set within the framework of the exhibition.
To stimulate the level of activity, Mir Stekla always keeps up to date with the actual business trends, this year offering:
windows, doors, façades – the actual concept of active and passive houses;
special application of glass, optics, laboratory, quartz etc;
transportation and storage of glass.
Industrial giants such as as: Bystronic glass, Hegla, Grenzebach, Sisecam, Emhart glass, Zippe, Horn, Kami, Bottero, Sklostroj Turnov Cz S.R.O., LLC RuSail, JSC Salavatsteklo, SaratovStroySteklo have already confirmed their participation in 2014.
Caspian float glass plant, which started production in 2013, will present its facilities, along with LLC Steklolux, LLC Glass-decor 1 and others.
The Italian pavilion is presented by Adelio Lattuada, Alu Pro, Antonini, Bottero, CMS, Cugher Glass, Euromed, Fenzi, Forza G Italia, Italcarrelli, Mappi International, OCMI-OTG, Tecno 5, Olivotto Glass Technologies, Triulzi.
