An upcoming exhibition at the National Glass Centre, Sunderland, north-east England, will have on show artworks from two creative ‘families’ – Glass and Ceramics, and feature artists who usually work in other areas, and who are exploring glass or ceramics as creative materials.
Bringing together artworks from two creative ‘families’ – Glass and Ceramics, this second survey exhibition, taking place 21 September – 31 December 2012, features artists who usually work in other areas, and who are exploring glass or ceramics as creative materials. Others are known for working in either glass or ceramics and are now taking their ideas into the other medium. The new work, extending the artists’ existing practice, has largely been created at the National Glass Centre, Sunderland, north-east England.
Featuring: Jennifer Allinson, Steve Brown, Andrew Burton, Paul Coldwell, Graham Dolphin, Joel Fisher, Charlotte Hodes, Rob Kesseler, Magdalene Odundo and Brian Thompson.
