National Glass Recycling Co. SAOC will be the first state-of-the-art and fully automatic glass recycling plant in Oman
National Glass Recycling will be the first fully automatic glass recycling plant to be set up in the Sohar Industrial Estate, Sultanate of Oman.
Sheikh Hilal Humad Al Hasani, representing the Ministry of Sultanate of Oman, and Mr. Ramesh Mani, Glass Industry Leader, have announced the first state-of-the-art and fully automatic glass recycling plant within the GCC at Sohar, Sultanate of Oman – the National Glass Recycling Co. SAOC.
National Glass Recycling Co. SAOC will be the first state-of-the-art and fully automatic glass recycling plant to the capacity of 650 TPD/Day within the GCC to be set up in the Sohar Industrial Estate, Sultanate of Oman shortly. This will be the first glass recycling facility within the GCC and is expected to be operational by the end of 2019.
The glass recycling plant is specifically designed to meet the needs of varied glass manufacturers within the GCC region in terms of specifications, volumes and pricing. The glass recycling technology is an exclusive and patented technology from Glass-Scan Technologies, who have the rights, the proprietary know-how and strategic industry partners to support the implementation of the legal frame, support the introduction of glass recycling to the public, arrange and operate waste glass collection, build and operate a recycling glass plant and control and manage all relevant data. The world class equipment is manufactured and supplied by market leader, M/s. Binder – Austria, specializing in recycling equipment.
National Glass Recycling Co. SAOC has confirmed long term import agreements for the broken glass i.e. raw materials and export sales agreements with glass manufacturers, which has ensured the pre-booking of the capacities well in advance.
NGRC is headed by Mr. Ramesh Mani, Chief Promoter of the Glass Recycling Technology within GCC and Glass Industry Leader in the capacity of ‘Chief Executive Officer & Managing Investor Partner’. The Project is supported and introduced in Oman under the patronage of Sheikh Hilal Humad Al Hasani, CEO – PEIE (which comes under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry) and has investors both from the Govt and Private sectors.
