New board members and members of the executive committee for 2013 have been elected by the National Fenestration Rating Council.

The National Fenestration Rating Council (NFRC) has confirmed its list of board members for the 2013 term and has approved new members of its executive committee.
Sneh Kumar of Kawneer (fenestration industry category) has been elected as a NFRC board member selected to serve a three-year term. Other NFRC board members elected are Jeff Baker of WestLab Canada (laboratory category), Mahabir Bhandari of Oak Ridge National Laboratory (general interest category) and Gary Curtis of Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance (general interest category). In addition, NFRC has also established a new executive committee.
The committee has announced Steve Strawn of Jeld-Wen as the chair, Baker as the vice-chair and Steve Farrar of Guardian Industries as the committee’s secretary. Kumar will be the committee’s treasurer, Joe Hayden of Pella is the previous chair and Jim Krahn of Marvin will be the ombudsman.
“NFRC is fortunate to have assembled such a talented group of professionals whose skills and contributions will make our organization even stronger,” said Jim Benney, NFRC’s CEO. “The individual commitment each one of them brings to our shared cause forms a distinguished group that positions NFRC to assist its stakeholders in reaching their goals during 2013 and beyond.”
