Ltd., the Japanese producer of cathode-ray tube glass, reported higher group net earnings for the year ended 31 March, 2001 of JPY 25.4 billion compared to JPY 13.73 billion the year before. Earnings per share were JPY 158.97 in fiscal year 2001 versus JPY 85.94 the previous year. Sales were higher at JPY 344.68 billion compared to JPY 323.59 billion in 2000. Cash flow was JPY 72.64 billion versus JPY 56.79 billion the year before.
