NSG Group has announced the name of the company which will result from the merger on 1 April 2008 of its subsidiaries NSG Kanto Co., Ltd., NSG Tokai Co., Ltd. and NSG Kansai Co., Ltd., into a single firm. The resulting company, the name of which had not been decided when the merger was announced at the end of January 2008, will be NSG Building Products Co., Ltd. and the representative will be Mr. Shigeki Mori. Having a share capital of JPY 50 million, NSG Building Products Co., Ltd. will be a wholly-owned subsidiary of NSG. With a workforce of around 720, it will be based in Ichihara city, Chiba Prefecture and will fabricate insulated, laminated and tempered value-added building glass products.
