US glassmaker Owens-Illinois Inc. (O-I) has announced the appointment of Radhika Batra as vice president and chief procurement officer, to lead the company“s global strategic sourcing function and help its regional operations increase buying power. Ms. Batra was previously with Solutia Inc., where she was vice president of business process in the CPFilms segment. Previous to that, she also served as vice president of supply chain and global procurement at Solutia.
