O-I names vice president of global talent management and organizational development

Owens-Illinois, Inc. (O-I), has named Georgette Verdin – previously vice president of organizational and business development with Reddin Consultants – vice president of O-I’s global talent management and organizational development.

Leading global glass container manufacturer Owens-Illinois, Inc. has named Georgette Verdin vice president of global talent management and organizational development.
Verdin’s focus will include organizational design and effectiveness, performance management, learning and development, and workforce planning.
“Our employees are experiencing a significant amount of change as the company transforms itself to adapt to rapidly changing competitive and economic pressures,” said Paul Jarrell, O-I’s senior vice president and chief human resources officer. “Georgette’s background and her passion for people will ensure this critical centre of excellence enables employees to deliver great results.”
Verdin has about 20 years of experience in human resources and business development. Most recently, she was vice president of organizational and business development with Reddin Consultants in Cuernavaca, Mexico. She gained a master’s degree in international relations from The American University and a bachelor’s degree in history from Georgetown University.
