Olivotto Industries SpA of Italy has announced the closing of the acquisition of the assets of Lynch Systems, Inc. (USA). The assets have been purchased by a new US (Delaware) company named Lynch Technologies LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Olivotto Glass Technologies SpA based in Turin, Italy (an Olivotto Industries Company), operating in the engineering and manufacturing of glassware forming machinery under the trade names OLIVOTTO and ANTAS. Under the guidance of Olivotto Glass Technologies SpA, Lynch Technologies LLC will continue its business activities in hollow glass forming machinery. The company will remain in Bainbridge (Georgia) and will expand its sales and customer service activities by representing the OLIVOTTO and ANTAS operations in North, Central and South America. OLIVOTTO, ANTAS and LYNCH machines will be integrated worldwide under a single sales organisation. Olivotto Glass Technologies is a leading company in engineering and manufacturing forming machinery for a wide range of hollow glass articles, serving capital investments worldwide to the most important hollow glass producers. Olivotto Glass Technologies says it is proud to integrate its know-how and organisation through the acquisition of Lynch, a company renowned worldwide and a pioneer in the glass pressing process. The resulting combination of LYNCH with OLIVOTTO and ANTAS technologies gives the widest base of machines installed worldwide, which will be supported by the new improved Customer Service team. By exploring new applications and researching glass forming optimisation, the new organization will also use the experience of these numerous installations in other benefit for its clients, such as technological upgrades, efficiency and cost saving.
