Parkinson-Spencer Refractories recently announced the sudden and unexpected death of its representative in Moscow, Mrs Irina Ushchekina.
Irina ran the shared Moscow office since 2004 and during that time has established a well-known name in the Russian Glass Industry for both herself and the companies she represented. She also represented Imaca and Sheppee International, and previously represented Pennine Industrial Equipment Ltd and Rosario Productie.
She will always be remembered for her tenacity, energy and initiative. She worked in the office alone and travelled long distances to visit clients in the harsh Russian winter months.
At the age of only 52 Irina’s death is both tragic and unexpected. She will be sadly missed by her many friends and acquaintances in the glass industry and beyond.
