A news post on Saint-Gobain’s German website has confirmed a change of leadership for both Saint-Gobain Glass Deutschland GmbH and Saint-Gobain Deutsche Glas GmbH. the new CEO both companies is Pascal Decker.
The notice reads: After Dr. Stephan Kranz, currently CEO of Saint-Gobain Glass Deutschland GmbH and Saint-Gobain Deutsche Glas GmbH, expressed his personal desire to leave the Saint-Gobain Group in the summer of 2022, Pascal Decker has become CEO on February 1 of both companies and is taking over the management of Saint-Gobain’s glass activities in Germany.
Pascal Decker has been with the Saint-Gobain Group since 1995 and has held various positions of responsibility, mainly in the mineral wool sector, in the areas of production, “technical & industrial performance” and general management in various countries, including Germany.
“I am very pleased that in Pascal Decker we have been able to recruit an experienced top manager from a neighboring, similarly structured industrial area of Saint-Gobain,” said Raimund Heinl, CEO Saint-Gobain Germany & Austria. “The handover of the tasks by Dr. Stephan Kranz is taking the necessary care during these weeks. I thank Dr. Stephan Kranz for his great commitment and successful work in more than 20 years working for Saint-Gobain in Germany and I wish him all the best for the future.”
