Mark Thompson, Chief Executive Officer of Friedman Operating Group, announced that Peter Dixen has succeeded Dr. Uwe Schmid as CEO of A+W Software.
Mark Thompson, Chief Executive Officer of the Friedman Operating Group, has named Peter Dixen as the new CEO of A+W Software GmbH. In this role he is succeeding Dr. Uwe Schmid, who has left to pursue other opportunities. Peter has assumed full responsibility for the worldwide operations of the A+W Software operating unit.
In a letter on the company’s web site, Thoimpson wrote, “We would like to thank Dr. Schmid for his role in strengthening A+W’s product offering and market leadership under his tenure and we wish him every success in his future career.
“As part of our continued commitment to provide exceptional products and services Peter will provide experienced leadership and help drive ongoing investment in A+W Software, a key business unit within the Friedman Operating Group.”
Peter Dixen brings more than 20 years of glass and fenestration IT industry experience to his new role and is highly focused upon customer satisfaction and long-lasting partnerships with A+W customers. His previous experience includes 13 years as IT application and internal software development director for an international glass company, A+W support manager focused on key accounts and, most recently, A+W Vice President Sales & Marketing. Apart from his native language, Danish, Peter also speaks English, German, French and Japanese.
Based on his long-term experience in the glass industry, Peter will focus on customer satisfaction as well as long-lasting partnerships and cooperation with all A+W customers. The requirements and expectations of customers will be the main goal for all sections of A+W, with a specific emphasis on strategic product development to meet the needs of A+W customers today and tomorrow.
