With a strong background in the industrial sector, he will head the Group’s French subsidiary

Verallia, Europe’s leading producer and the world’s third largest producer of glass packaging for beverages and food products, has appointed Pierre-Henri Desportes Chairman of Verallia France. In this capacity, he becomes a member of the Executive Committee and reports directly to Patrice Lucas, the Group’s CEO.

“I am delighted to welcome Pierre-Henri as Chairman of Verallia France. His industrial expertise, his commitment, his passion for our businesses and for operational excellence will enable us to pursue the ambitious roadmap that the Group has set for itself in France. He then took over the management of the Central Europe area for the Exterior division as chairman and CEO before becoming chairman and CEO of the Lighting division until his arrival at Verallia France on November 2, 2022.
