Pilkington’s two plants in Aintree, UK, and Basingstoke, UK, will be closed, with a total loss of 92 jobs.
UK glassmaker Pilkington, part of the NSG Group, has announced that it is to close its factory site in Aintree, UK, with the loss of 51 jobs.
The roof-glazing factory will shut the Aintree Racecourse business park site next month.
NSG will also close a Basingstoke, UK site this February, with the loss of another 41 workers.
