France“s Pochet, which makes and distributes luxury glass perfume bottles and containers, posted turnover of EUR 87 million (USD 102.3 million) for the 3Q of 2005, down 2.8% year-on-year, it was reported on 14 November 2005. Sales for the first nine months of 2005 were flat year-on-year at EUR 275.51 million (USD 324 million). In October 2005, management noted that the start of the 2H of 2005 was marked by a flat market and the increase in production costs including energy and raw materials. Pochet expects financial results for the full year 2005 to be below those for 2004. Pochet, established in 1623, is the parent company of French crystal, porcelain, jewellery, perfume and fine leather goods retailer Lalique Group.
