Joanne Funyak, PPG Industries’ construction market manager for flat glass, will preview new Solarban 67 glass at the Glass Association of North America event in Las Vegas.
Joanne Funyak, PPG Industries’ construction market manager for flat glass, is scheduled to speak at the Building Envelope Contractors (BEC) Conference sponsored by the Glass Association of North America (GANA), 17-19 March, at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas.
Funyak will present Solarban® 67 glass, a soon-to-be-released solar control, low-emissivity (low-E) glass with a neutral coating that combines excellent solar control performance with an extraordinarily crisp, clean and brilliantly clear exterior appearance. Funyak’s presentation is scheduled for 10:20 a.m. on 18 March as part of the event’s “Take 5” speaker series.
Solarban 67 glass offers architects an entirely new exterior aesthetic, which results from a proprietary double-silver, magnetron-sputtered vacuum deposition (MSVD) coating developed by PPG. Because of the coating’s unique neutral colour, Solarban 67 glass can reflect the actual timbre and brightness of ambient light and colour unlike any architectural glass of its kind.
