The management and employees of the Saultain facility of PPG Industries in northern France have reached an agreement regarding redundancy compensation. US paints and coatings maker PPG has agreed to pay each employee leaving EUR 25,000 in compensation, along with an additional EUR 1,200 for each year of service. Part of the production will be moved to Poland, thus cutting 240 jobs.
