PRESS GLASS which specialises in manufacturing glass for construction industry, has expanded its catalogue of acoustic glass units.
The catalogue of PRESS GLASS acoustic glass units has been expanded with the addition of a new glazed unit 8/20/10,8 (VSG 55.2) Argon with weighted sound reduction index (Rw) of 42 decibels (dB). The adjustment coefficients C and Ctr are -2 and -5 dB respectively.
As specified by the manufacturer, the new glazed unit has already passed appropriate laboratory tests and holds an appropriate sound insulation certificate.
“The glass has been tested for compliance with European and international standards (EN ISO standards) as well as for compliance with US standards. In the latter case, tests covered for compliance with the standards of the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM International) that are expressed with two acoustic insulation standards (STC and OITC),” informs PRESS GLASS.
The catalogue of acoustic glass units manufactured by PRESS GLASS now covers as many as 78 types of glass. In recent months the manufacturer has expanded the list by over 20 new items.
