Pulp Studio promotes Kirk Johnson to Chief Operating Officer

Pulp Studio Glass produces materials with a variety of decorative and graphic interlayer as well as a large selection of pattern glasses and custom glass applications

Pulp Studio, preeminent manufacturer of decorative and specialty glass products, announced the promotion of Kirk Johnson to the newly created position of chief operating officer (COO). Johnson will have primary responsibility for day-to-day operations of Pulp Studio. The promotion is effective immediately.

“Kirk plays a key role at Pulp Studio and in his new position as COO, he will continue to streamline operating procedures and contribute to the continued growth and expansion of the business,” said Lynda Lax, president and founder of Pulp Studio. “We are very fortunate to have such a seasoned professional on our team.”

With over 25 years in the glass industry, Johnson started on the production floor and has worked in every aspect of the business from cutting, tempering, lamination, insulation, and fabrication to sales and executive roles. Johnson joined the Pulp Studio team in 2016 after serving as director of sales and marketing, regional vice president, chief operating officer, and chief administrative officer at various glass fabricators on the West Coast.
