Quinn Glass, now known as Encirc Ltd., has been acquired by Vidrala, a Spanish container glass manufacturing company, for EUR 408.6 million
The break-up of the former Sean Quinn business empire is almost complete after the business confirmed the EUR 408.6 million sale of its glass business.
Aventas Manufacturing Group, the former Quinn Group, said today that, Encirc Ltd., formerly Quinn Glass, has been sold to Vidrala, a Spanish container glass manufacturing company.
The deal involves Encirc’s manufacturing plants in Derrylin, Co Fermanagh and Elton in the UK.
This sale follows the sale of parts of the Quinn Manufacturing division to QBRC, a consortium of businessman based on either side of the Irish border.
