26 February 1998: Spanish group Rioglass (La Rioja) recently inaugurated the first bus windscreen manufacturing unit in the Benelux region at Fleurus, Belgium. The company reportedly invested BFr 110 million in the plant. The venture capital subsidiary of Sambrinvest also invested BFr 25 million, some BFr 10 million of which in the form of capital. The plant is Rioglass“ only production unit outside Spain, and is expected to generate turnover of BFr 150 million.
