Ritec has been awarded ISO 9001: 2015 and ISO 14001:2015 once again
Ritec has announced that it has been awarded ISO 9001: 2015 and ISO 14001:2015 once again, bringing many benefits to Ritec, its staff and its customers.
Ritec International has once again been awarded ISO 9001: 2015 and ISO 14001:2015 – the international quality and environmental standards for a company’s management systems covering its products and services.
With over 37 years of experience in the field, Ritec specialises in products and solutions for the renovation, ‘non-stick’, easy-clean protection and maintenance of glass, metal and plastic surfaces.
The company’s route to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 certification involved a thorough independent assessment of all internal systems, including production, sales order processing, purchasing, staff training, administration and after sales support. Ritec passed all aspects of it processes with flying colours.
Achieving these coveted ISO standards bring many benefits to Ritec, its staff and its customers, says the company’s Production Manager, Martin Burkett AIIRSM (Associate of International Institute of Risk & Safety Management), who was responsible for overseeing the certifications: “Although our systems already met the required quality and management standard, the standards are also about continued improvement and highlighted areas where we could improve even further. For example, by detailing certain monitoring rather than just monitoring, this results in enhanced productivity, administration and our service to customers.”
ISOQAR Lead Auditor Ian Thomas added, “The organisation [Ritec] has established and maintained its management system in line with the requirements of the standards and therefore concluded that the ISO9001 and ISO14001 accreditations should be continued.”
Martin further commented, “ISO 9001:2015 and 14001:2015 are great achievements, however we will not be resting on our laurels and believe it’s important for an international organisation such as ours to seek ever higher standards. We’ll be ensuring that orders are met consistently, and to the correct specification, motivating our staff to work towards continued improvement for the benefit of our business and our customers.”
