Robert Bürkle GmbH, a globally leading line and special machine manufacturer for press and coating technologies from Freudenstadt, Germany, restructured the company and realigned their strategy. From now on, there are four independent business divisions covering the respective product segments.
“We are convinced that this model is more efficient and that the individual divisions will be able to react much faster and more targeted to individual customer requirements in the future,” said Jürgen Schröer, CEO of the Bürkle Group.
Since the beginning of 2023, he has been supported by Martin Meister, who, in addition to managing the commercial divisions, will also focus on further global development and digitalization of the company.
Four independent business divisions
Marco Schaible will be responsible for the printed circuit board (PCB) division. Schaible has been managing director of the production branch in Shanghai and was responsible for the construction of the new production facility in Taicang. He will also remain responsible for the Asian business.
Kai P. Treuner is responsible for the photovoltaics and technical glass division as well as for the plastic card division. Through his previous activities in other companies, Treuner brings many years of experience, especially in the field of glass and PV applications.
Matthias Picker has been responsible for the Surface Division (Woodworking) since the beginning of the year. With his profound knowledge of the international market of woodworking machines, he will define and implement important projects and strategies for the Bürkle Group.
Last but not least, there is the branch in Mastholte near Rietberg with the product focus on door and parquet lines as well as systems for the production of insulating elements. The automation and robotics technologies for the group are also within this division. In future, this location will be managed by Dr. Arno Rogalla (on an interim basis) as an independent business division.
In the coming years, each division is to develop independently with different focal points in terms of the range of services, the product range and the global positioning in order to optimally serve the markets and the customers.
Olaf Rohrbeck, previous Managing Director for Sales and Technology, left the company at the end of July 2023. He will continue to work for the company on an advisory basis and will support the transformation process.
