Romanians will spend some EUR 650 million on double glazing in 2005, said the president of the Association of Romanian Window Makers, Marian Crutescu, according to Jurnalul National daily. Crutescu said that the double glazing market has risen EUR 150 million in the past year. PVC frames are used for two thirds of double glazing in Romania. The domestic market is divided among 25 importing companies with over 90% of sales and four local makers.
