Roto Frank has acquired Union
Roto Frank has acquired Union to strengthen and expand its door and window technology division.
Roto Frank AG has acquired Union Ltd., a manufacturer based near Shanghai, China. The acquisition will help Roto Frank strengthen and expand its door and window technology division.
Union Ltd., with approximately 450 employees, has had a long-term relationship with Roto Frank as a supplier of zinc and aluminium die-cast parts. In addition to die casting, the company’s capabilities include powder coating and injection moulding.
Although management responsibility for Union Ltd. will be transferred to Roto Frank in the short term, the company will continue to operate as an independent business in the future and will serve as a wholly owned subsidiary of Roto Frank AG.
Dr. Eckhard Keill, chair of Roto AG’s Executive Board, noted that the acquisition is the “next step of an offensive strategy that is fully focused on meeting market and customer requirements all over the world.”
