SAGE expands market reach with new representatives in Canada and Mexico

SAGE electronically tintable dynamic glass will now be distributed in Canada and Mexico by, respectively, Paisley Products and JyS International Building Products.

SAGE, a manufacturer of electronically tintable dynamic glass, has expanded its North American market reach by signing two new partners to sell, promote and support SageGlass® in Canada and Mexico. Architects, building owners and glazing contractors seeking sun control solutions for their building projects now have access to SageGlass dynamic glazing throughout the continent.
Paisley Products of Canada will be distributing SageGlass in Canada. Established in 1949, the company supplies a variety of specialized products to numerous industries, including construction, automotive and aerospace. Paisley represents some of the best brands in construction materials including 3M, Dow Corning, DuPont and Saint-Gobain (a SAGE strategic partner).
According to Marlon Paisley, the company’s vice president of sales and marketing, SageGlass will be a welcome product in Canada as his clients are increasingly seeking cutting-edge technologies for building envelope design.
“SageGlass represents the future of glazing technology. It is an industry leading the way to finish the curtain wall of a building. SageGlass looks aesthetically brilliant, minimizes energy loss, is simple to use, and makes the building envelope far more functional by controlling heat gain, glare and fading,” Paisley said.
In Mexico, JyS International Building Products, Inc., will serve as a SageGlass manufacturer’s representative. JyS has sold and promoted high-performance glass products and glazing materials in Latin America since 2005.
JyS owner Luis Juan y Seva sees LEED® accreditation driving an increased demand for dynamic glass in Mexico. “In the last two years, Mexico has caught on to LEED and EnergyStar, with many architects now designing buildings with these goals in mind. Because Mexico has plentiful sunshine, SageGlass’ unique controllable electrochromic glass will fit well into designs that seek to embrace the sun rather than block it with shading devices. SageGlass will be a great addition to our family of high-performance glazing products,” he said.
