Salem and Elettromeccanica Bovone continue partnership

Companies focus strengths to service the North American glass industry

In the fall of 2019, Elettromeccanica Bovone Srl opened a US facility near their exclusive North American partner of over 45 years, Salem Fabrication Technologies Group.

This move was to augment the presence of Bovone’s machinery line on US soil while still working hand in hand with Salem. Moving forward in 2021, customers may reach out directly to Bovone North America for information on new glass fabrication machinery and equipment while Salem will continue to offer service, parts and supplies for the machinery.

Bovone North America is equipped to offer information and new sales of its renowned glass edging, beveling, laminating and other glass processing equipment as well as Industry 4.0 enhancements such as automated lines with robotic glass handling; developments that Bovone and Salem have worked together for years to expand in the US.

Salem recently restructured and has two distinct divisions, Salem Fabrication Supplies -offering all glass fabrication tooling and supplies to the industry and HHH Equipment Resources providing equipment and leading technical service and support including repair and periodic maintenance contracts. Continuing their partnership with Bovone, Salem will offer these services, OEM parts and other tools and supplies to all existing and new Bovone customers in North America.

“Our continuing partnership defines the glass industry’s standard for high quality machinery, cost-effective, innovative tooling and supplies and deep knowledge and expertise from our technical service and support staff,” said Mike Willard, CEO of Salem Fabrication Technologies Group.

The companies’ long-time partnership is acknowledged by Federica Bovone, CEO of Electromeccanica Bovone – “Our physical expansion in the US along with the support of our longtime partner, Salem, will help us continue to meet the demands of our loyal customer base while expanding our market share of glass processing machinery.”
