Satinal green thinking: 500 solar panels installed at the HQ

Satinal’s sustainability-focused approach has been reflecting on an eco-friendly long-term plan, compatible with global trends and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development goals.
Integrating sustainability into the organisational structure is a business that Satinal has been running. Recently, the Company has declared to use 100 percent clean electricity only, produced from renewable sources, highlighting the importance to preserve the Planet and ensure a better future to next generations. In 2022 Satinal avoided the emission of 167,8711 tons of CO2.

In addition, a responsible mindset allowed Satinal to obtain the EcoVadis Silver rating. Ecovadis is an entity that covers the four cornerstones of sustainability, evaluating companies according to their CSR actions and policies.

An additional recognition was about STRATO®, by obtaining the ISCC+ Certification (International Sustainability & Carbon Certification), thanks to STRATO® EVA Carbon Free, the highly innovative interlayer version. STRATO® proves to be an innovative and growing brand, oriented to ensure high-quality and sustainable products.

Moreover, in the first months of 2023, STRATO® obtained 100% Made in Italy Certification, that makes recognizable and traceable the origin and the quality of selected raw materials.

A further step forward in Satinal’s green process took place a few days ago, with the installation of 500 photovoltaic panels on the roof of the Italian headquarters, with a power output of 200 kWp.

The photovoltaic panels were assembled using STRATO® Solar Encapsulants, Satinal’s own product, specially selected to ensure a high-quality finished product. The plant will produce alternative energy for all Satinal’s business departments, significantly reducing CO2 emissions into the atmosphere.
