SCHOTT, international technology group and one of the world’s leading manufacturer of speciality glass, is bringing two products for glass-ceramic fire-viewing panels to the United States after they reinvented home technology in Europe.
ROBAX® IR SuperMax is SCHOTT’s most efficient heat-reflective coating for fire-viewing panels. The new coating radiates the heat energy emitted by fire and embers through the fire-viewing panel back into the combustion chamber, and is significantly more efficient than an uncoated viewing panel. Since less heat escapes to the outside, the combustion process is much more efficient due to the increased temperatures in the combustion chamber.
SCHOTT ROBAX® IR SuperMax was the 2021 German Innovation Award winner and ROBAX® NightView won the 2022 German Design Award. The products will be presented at booth 1317 of HPB Expo 2022, March 3 to 5 at the Georgia World Congress Center.
