SGD Pharma decarbonization strategy and its goal to reduce CO2 scope 1 and 2 emissions (-35 percent in 2030 and -65 percent in 2040 in comparison to 2020) have been submitted to SBTi for validation.
SGD Pharma’s support to mangrove plantation and restoration is yet another example of their commitment to support biodiversity and the fight against global warming
SGD Pharma is delighted to announce that the Zhanjiang Mangrove Wetland Conservation Federation has invited SGD Pharma to become a member of its board of directors. The association’s mission is to promote the scientific protection, management and sustainable use of mangrove wetlands.
This appointment recognizes SGD Pharma’s ongoing commitment to the preservation of the mangrove in Zhanjiang. SGD Pharma is well on its way to deliver on its pledge to plant 10,000 trees by end of 2024. SGD Pharma also organized and participated in several events in 2023 to advocate for mangrove conservation to around 88,000 people.
The Chairman of the association, Mr. Liao, attended the CCI France Chine event with SGD Pharma and the Director for China at Climate Fresk, to discuss the partnership.
