Sika promotes Moran and Weber

Sika has made two personnel changes, with Greg Moran promoted to the position of vice president of marketing and Phil Weber to the position of vice president of product engineering and technical service.

Sika Corp. has announced two personnel changes. Greg Moran has been promoted to the position of vice president of marketing and Phil Weber has been promoted to the position of vice president of product engineering and technical service, both for the company’s Industry and Automotive USA division.
Moran joined Sika in 2002 and has held various positions during his 11 years including market field manager, director of product management and, most recently, director of marketing. Prior to joining Sika, Moran was employed by Eaton Corp. for more than 16 years with concentration in Marketing Communications and Program Management positions. Moran holds a bachelor’s of science in business administration from Central Michigan University, an associate’s degree from Oakland Community College and PMP credentials as a certified Project Management Professional through the Project Management Institute in New Town Square, Pa.
Weber joined Sika in 1998 and the company says he was instrumental in construction of the Sika Technology Center located in Madison Heights, Mich. During his 15 years, Weber has held positions in technical service including technical service manager and, most recently, director of product engineering and technical services. Prior to joining Sika, Weber was employed by Ricardo, Inc. Weber holds a bachelor’s of science in mechanical engineering and a master of science from the University of Cincinnati.
Sika is a leading supplier of specialty chemical products and industrial materials serving construction and industrial markets including transportation, marine, and automotive. Its technologies are focused on sealing, bonding, damping, reinforcing and protecting.
