Soliver to re-open this year after investment

Soliver’s production capacity is 70,000 tons of glass containers per year

Soliver is expected to open this year after closing to carry out upgrades on its machinery, creating about 350 new jobs.

Soliver, a manufacturer of glass containers, will reopen its factory in Bchamoun in mid-2018 after an investment of USD 32 million to upgrade its machines.
The company closed its factory in 2017, due to loss of market share and high cost of electricity.
The new opening of the factory will create around 350 new full time jobs.
Soliver’s production capacity is 70,000 tons of glass containers per year. Production of coloured (green and brown) glass is around 10,000 tons per year. It provides its products to 15 domestic manufacturers such as Interbrand, Pepsi, and Kassatly Chtaura, among others.
