Solvay is co-financing the creation of eSpheres, a company which will offer outsourcing services powered by SAP® software and provide a fully integrated suite of Health Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability information management solutions and consulting services to industries.

Solvay has announced that it has decided to co-finance the creation of eSpheres, a company which will offer outsourcing services powered by SAP® software and provide a fully integrated suite of Health Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability information management solutions and consulting services to industries.
eSpheres will help HSE executives in various industries optimize their HSE service delivery through increased operational efficiencies, informed decision making and consistent compliance practices. The new company will support key HSE areas, including product regulatory compliance, product safety, environmental performance, industrial hygiene, employee incident and accident activities, and HSE sustainability performance. The formation of the company was announced from co-located Sapphire® Now and SAP TechEd conferences held in Madrid, Spain, 8-10 November.
By providing strong support and in-house expertise to eSpheres, Solvay is demonstrating its commitment to sustainable development, innovation and entrepreneurship. The new company will offer European industry services accessible via the Internet for HSE information management and professional support for meeting regulatory, compliance and sustainability challenges.
“eSpheres is the first provider of outsourcing services powered by SAP software to offer HSE on-demand solutions, including reporting and analytical tools and regulatory content at both the local and international level for management worldwide,” said Stefan Vanhelleputte, chief information officer, Solvay. “The combination of full HSE and sustainability domain coverage, on-demand delivery via the cloud, including integration with a customer’s own data, and preconfigured SAP software is unique in this field. We are convinced we can offer our customers strong value by integrating HSE management and information solutions with SAP software.”
