ITEC GmbH, located in Plößberg, Germany, an independent design office for the glass industry, was founded in 1999 by Robert Üblacker.
Since then the Company has successfully completed the design of numerous glass melting furnaces, covering the repair of existing installations and the complete planning of new furnaces.
On the 20th anniversary of the formation of the Company Mr. Üblacker has designated his successor. At the end of October 2020 he stepped down from his position as Managing Director. At the same time SORG in Lohr am Main acquired a share of the Company. On 1st November 2020 Clemens Eidmann took over the position of Managing Director.
ITEC GmbH will continue to operate as an independent company. Customers will still be able to trust in the competent technical advice provided by Robert Üblacker and ITEC technical manager Thomas Reger.
